TODAY’S YOUTHS, TOMORROW’S LEADERS

Scripture Reference: Exodus 33:11
So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.

God handpicked Moses with all his weaknesses even as ineloquent person and He used him to bring the people of Israel out of Egypt.

However, as always, the day came when the younger generation had to take on the mantle. As mighty as Moses was, he couldn’t serve God and His people forever. There was the need for the upcoming generation to fill in his shoes.

Could anyone have taken over from Moses? No, that couldn’t have been possible. Moses’ successor had to be someone with similar godly qualities. The individual had to be a person of faith, prayer and of the Spirit.

It had to be someone who was ready to go all the way in spite of the odds with God – one who would take God at His Word and dare to believe His promises. These qualities were exactly what Joshua, Moses’ successor, possessed that made him such an instrumental servant of God.

If God was to chose someone to carry on a divine assignment, could you be the one? Is He going to give it a consideration in appointing you? How prepared and ready are you? The truth is; many are called but only few are chosen. How well are you positioning yourself today in order to fall among chosen ones? Selah!

Grace unto you,

Osei Barnie
